L0047_2016_11_04

Good morning.

I will begin with a discussion on probable selves, that is what you think of as other expressions of your focus that follow different probable paths. To begin, each focus in a dimension incorporates vast numbers of probable selves. From the perspective of essence, that is the essence which is engaging in the focus, from that perspective each probable self is equivalent and the essence engages these multitudes of probable selves within the focus for the purpose of, shall we say, maximizing the experience rendered by that focus.

For if it were that a focus simply followed one thread of experience this would generate experiences that are quite limited to the choices of that one thread and therefore far more experience may be generated from the focus when all these other probable selves also engage their choices individually. And it is not difficult for you to appreciate that with all the choices that are available for you at any moment and that at each moment there is a multitude of probable selves that follow each one of those choices, you may then begin to appreciate how extremely large this cluster of probable selves is.

Now each probable self is closely aligned with the focus. The focus has, for example, some intents for that focus and some general, shall we say, guidelines for areas of exploration within that focus, it is the focus’ theme and this cluster of probable selves then will gather about that theme and closely parallel each other, however their choices will vary for that is the purpose.
From the perspective of the focus, such as yourselves which you are currently engaging in this dimension, there is the concept of a primary probable self which is the one that you identify with most strongly and this is the one that you recognize as being yourself.

When other individuals draw from your energy for the purpose of interacting with yourself they will quite generally engage that primary probable self that you identify with as your primary self, as yourself. And in terms of history, that is to say individuals that shall we say are famous, they will leave a legacy in your official history that is that one primary self that they chose to associate with the focus. And, for example, if you were to engage in some interaction or viewing information of another focus, either of your own or that of another essence, you would generally be tapping into the primary self that the focus has identified with, for this primary self is what the focus makes most important and therefore is most prominent in the blueprint, it has the highest intensity, for the focus has chosen that self to be primary.

Again from the perspective of essence that is engaging the focus each probable self is equivalent and generates experience that is equally valid to any other probable self. The essence of course is aware that one primary probable self has been selected by the focus and this to some extent the essence will identify with. However, in terms of significance and prominence they are all equal.

Now as I have said all of these probable selves cluster about the focus. You may visualize it as, for example, if you view the focus as a time line extending from birth to death then these probable selves add a thickness to that line, a kind of energetic field about the officially accepted path of the focus, and each of these probable selves is continuously in motion in that they intersect with each other. And in actuality what occurs is what the focus considers as its primary self is in fact the collective direction of all of its probable selves as it proceeds through its path in the focus. Now therefore I would express that there is in actuality no primary self, it is simply that the focus has an affinity to a particular path in its experience and it associates with itself, that is the focus, that path and that path, the primary path, is in actuality made up of many intersections with many different probable selves, however when considered collectively there is a definitive path for the focus and this is the one that the focus considers as primary.

Now your question was prompted by your wanting to engage a probable self of another individual that has made choices different from what they recognize as their primary self and from your perspective has made choices that are different than what you have been drawing from that individual. That is to say that you wish to engage a probable self of that individual that is somewhat different than their officially selected primary self. And I would express to you that this in fact occurs fairly frequently however it is a matter of your perception being drawn generally to the primary self of that other individual, for this would be the most natural action of your perception, for as I have said that path that has been identified as the primary one by that other focus has certain prominence within the blueprint and your perception will more or less automatically be drawn more closely to that [rather] than some other probable path of that focus.

Therefore, once again as always, this is a matter of perception and the accomplishment of this action, this choosing of interactions with alternate probable selves of another individual requires a certain allowance with, and flexibility with your consciousness. The factors that affect this would be for example your belief in continuity and cause-and-effect for if you were to select another probable self of this individual this would likely to some extent be discontinuous from your past experience with this individual and therefore to some extent in violation of your belief in cause-and-effect and continuity.

Again it is a matter of how flexible you are with your beliefs and your awareness. I would express that generally this does occur occasionally and perhaps even with some frequency but only to the extent that the deviations are minor, so minor that they do not appear very prominent to the individual engaging the other probable self but it is possible. Like all matters of perception there are no limitations except for those that you accept for yourself.

Now I would also express that each focus then as it progresses through its lifetime may choose to in a sense switch from one probable path to another and that would mean that, for example, in so doing a choice that was made in the past can become undone. And again this is not very different from the situation I just described in which another individual draws from a different probable self, this would be a case of the focus drawing from another probable self that is outside of its officially designated primary one. And for the individual focus this happens much more frequently. However, again generally speaking, it would be limited to fairly small deviations, again because of your beliefs in continuity and cause-and-effect.

When an individual focus does change to another probable self it then of course considers that new probable self as its primary one and for the most part individuals are not aware of this change. Other individuals interacting with this focus may also sense to some extent this change and there might be subtle differences in the recollection of one individual as compared to the other, for example, and even for a short timeframe other individuals interacting with that focus that has changed its thread of experience to another probable self, for a timeframe it may be that the other individual still has an affinity for the other probable self that was previously the primary one. And this may cause some confusion at times in the interactions between the two individuals. However again generally these changes in the probable path of a focus are generally quite subtle for the reasons I have described.

Now I shall move on to the subject of your interconnectedness, that is the interconnectedness of your focus with other focuses.

In your dimension and many others the expression of you as essence in the focus is in itself an action of separation. It is an action of separation not only from yourself but also from other essences. For that action of focusing within a dimension is one that necessarily separates certain aspects of you as essence and accentuates those aspects within the focus, for that is generally the purpose of focus, it takes certain aspects of you, accentuates them and within that limited environment of yourself then they explore your reality.

Now as you are aware all focuses are simply expressions of essence and essence itself is an expression of all consciousness and therefore fundamentally you as focus are interconnected with all consciousness and by connection of course connected with all other focuses. This separating action which occurs when the focus is experiencing its life in a particular dimension is to some extent destabilizing for the natural state of essence is to be aware and interconnected with all else.

Historically then in your dimension individuals have created alternatives to their interconnectedness with all others and most prominently this has resulted in expressions of religion, for example. For each individual inherently knows, although they may not be aware, inherently knows that they are connected with all else. The expression of religion was created as some kind of substitute for true interconnectedness and in a way it has been quite effective in that religions tend to foster an awareness of your connectedness with essence and somewhat less directly with other individuals.

Now as you progress in your widening awareness in your shift in consciousness you will become much more aware of your connectedness with other individuals and this will occur much more directly, it will be less artificial through beliefs and religious systems, for example. This awareness of your interconnectedness with each other will have a profound effect on your societies, it will have a profound effect on virtually everything in your world, for as you begin to see how closely you are related and interconnected you will begin to shed those beliefs that separate you and this is already occurring as you can see.

Many of your beliefs and guidelines are based upon separation, they are based upon differences between individuals, differences between the choices of individuals. And an individual has a tendency to want to separate from other individuals in certain ways, for because of their lack of sense of connection they feel that their individuality may be threatened if they are to be accepting of other individual’s choices. And it is in fact their own sense of separation, or shall we say more correctly their lack of connectedness with themselves that fosters this desire to separate from other individuals for if an individual feels disconnected from self, that is from essence, that to a great degree causes the individual to feel lacking in power, lacking in choices, and feeling perhaps vulnerable. And the reaction to this expression of lack and vulnerability is often an expression of wanting to shield themselves from other individuals and keeping a distance from other individuals so that they do not feel threatened by the other ones.

And as you begin to first feel more directly connected with yourself then you will feel much less threatened and vulnerable and understand that you need not fear the other individual, you need not fear that their choices or actions will cause harm to you. And therefore as that process proceeds and you become more accepting of the other individuals because you no longer feel threatened by them, this then leads to a greater sense of connection with them, a greater sense of understanding of the other individual and you will be able to relate to other individuals much more naturally for you do not feel threatened by them and you can see in them aspects of yourself which also brings you more together.

Again this process of reconnecting not only with yourself but with other individuals on a fundamental level has vast implications for your society. It removes the element of competition which is very strong in your present timeframe. Much of your society is based on the concept of competition, your trade and financial systems are strongly based on that, businesses compete with each other for market share, for the attention of other individuals, it is quite a competitive environment. Additionally your legal systems are strongly based upon competition, about competing views in which one is right which one is wrong. And your political systems as well, that is abundantly clear today, are strongly based on competition.

And this competition stems from fundamentally a lack of connectedness for you see other individuals as being wanting of certain things and you being wanting of perhaps other things or perhaps even the same thing but that in order to realize your wants you believe that it is necessary for another individual to give something up for that. Therefore this is how you feel competitive toward each other.

Now as your interconnectedness grows, and your awareness of that, it will become more clear and natural for individuals to understand that each individual’s choices are not an affront or challenge to another individual, that the other individual is equally empowered, that the other individual’s choices are equally valid although they may be different from yours.
And as this develops your inclination towards competition will become lessened considerably. And from this eventually what will occur is that competition will be replaced with instead cooperation, for as you feel more connected with the other individuals you will trust them more, you will understand that there is much more in common than perhaps had been previously understood, and this naturally will progress in the direction of cooperation. And when that occurs it will be very effective in creating a much more harmonious world for you, in a world that is, generally speaking, far more satisfying.

Again this is not to say that there will not be challenges, there will be, however the character of the challenges will change, it will be less based upon friction between individuals, between societies, between races, they will be less political. The challenges will become in a sense more about creativity, about solving your problems more creatively and jointly and in cooperation with each other.

Now I will briefly address to Fontine's question regarding time skipping. In this particular instance Fontine was not only being quite present but also quite engaged with, shall we say, other activities in her mind and the journey she engaged in, which was to take her from one physical location to another, and that was the intent, the actual journey itself was not of importance. And also because her attention was focused on other matters it was kind of a natural expression to simply skip the intervening time interval in that travel.
Now normally this would not occur for normally the individual would be paying more attention to the actual details of the journey and therefore these aspects of the journey would be incorporated into their perception. However in cases like this where there is strong attention in other areas, and in particular with this individual that has considerable flexibility with their consciousness and their awareness and is quite allowing of experiences of this nature, it was simply unnecessary for the perception to generate that experience for it did not add any new experience of any significance if it had been incorporated.
Therefore what occurred was her perception simply moved to a different point, that is the intended destination of the journey, and it was somewhat surprising to Fontine to find herself at this location without memory of the intervening travel. However because of her acceptance of and understanding of these experiences and how they are generated it was not difficult for her to accept what had actually occurred, that is that in her perception she simply moved from one place to the other as she had intended.

Now I will close the session and wish you a good day.
